Bird Club (Pay Quarterly)
Currently shipping: We're now taking orders for the current subscription, Raja the Indian Paradise Flycatcher. If you would like the next surprise instalment, please wait until 1st January 2021.
What’s included in the bird club crochet subscription?
The yarn to make the latest Edward’s Menagerie bird pattern fresh off Kerry Lord’s hook! You will receive the wool, along with the digital .pdf pattern to make the new bird as soon as it is released - once every 3 months.
This crochet subscription club will challenge your crochet skills as you take on some of the most advanced and exciting patterns Kerry Lord has produced. Each year we release four mystery birds that club members will get their hands first, ahead of them going on general release.
Each parcel contains enough TOFT DK to create your latest project in a carefully selected choice of colours. All kits are to make a standard-sized Edward’s Menagerie bird that sits at around 18cm high excluding crests and tales.
TOFT yarn is produced from the finest sheep’s fleeces and spun in the UK, producing a luxury 100% British wool yarn. TOFT yarn is spun to complement and work with the Edward’s Menagerie patterns - resulting in a super soft fabric that stands up to the test of time.
The only additional tools you’ll need to bring your new Ed’s Animals to life are a 3mm crochet hook, a wool needle and a handful of polyester toy stuffing.
Subscribers also receive an additional collectable biography postcard to accompany the latest addition to the menagerie.
Members of Ed’s Birds Club are also now able to purchase a Club project bag and Pin Badge as an add-on to their subscription. You can order this separately from the ‘Ed’s Bird Club’ tab on the top menu. By adding both the Bird’s Club subscription and the project bag to your basket you will receive a 25% discount off your project bag bundle making it £15 (discounted from £20).
Charging and shipping dates
This Birds Club Crochet subscription is a rolling quarterly subscription, meaning that it will auto-renew every three months unless you decide to cancel or skip an instalment. This means that your card will be billed the quarterly cost of the club + the cost of your chosen postage method on the following dates:
3rd January 2021
3rd April 2021
3rd July 2021
3rd October 2021
The next instalment of birds club will then be launched and dispatched on the following dates:
11th January 2021
9th April 2021
9th July 2021
9th October 2021
Your membership will continue to be charged and delivered once every three months unless you cancel or pause your subscription. You can do this at any time by logging into the ‘My Account’ section of the TOFT Subscriptions website.
Don't worry about when you subscribe as we will manually re-calibrate your subscription dates to ensure your parcels and charge dates all match up with the release dates. If you subscribe between kits being released the current bird instalment will ship to you immediately and the next parcel will automatically be shipped to you when it is released. This means that after your first parcel, your subscription will be aligned to sit alongside the bulk release that goes out to all subscribers on file.
The cost of delivery will be calculated at checkout based on the shipping address and is charged per instalment (unless the option to collect from TOFT HQ is selected from the dropdown menu above).
Members of Ed’s Birds Club are also now able to purchase a Club project bag and Pin Badge as an add-on to their subscription. You can order this separately from the ‘Ed’s Bird Club’ tab on the top menu.
